Shunter Driver
Full time - 40 hours per week, 16:30-01:00 Sunday to Thursday.

We are looking for a enthusiastic and reliable Shunter Driver to join our team in Totton, Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities:
· Positioning vehicles for loading and unloading (onsite only)
· Hitching and unhitching vehicles, pulling curtains, strapping loads
· Manoeuvring and/or reversing vehicles onto loading ramps in a small yard
· Carrying out vehicle/trailer checks and reporting any defects.
· Helping with loading of vehicles and general yard duties (forklift training will be provided)
Experience Required:
· Full UK driving licence with Category LGV C+E (Class 1) entitlement
· Valid CPC card and digital tacho card
· Previous experience of working with curtain sided trailers
· Good understanding of load safety and manual handling
· Team player with excellent communication skills
· Due to the nature of work, you will need to be physically fit and happy to undertake a criminal record check
· Maximum of six penalty points
