Nicab Ltd is hiring a Cable Assembly Operative to join our growing production team in Silverstone. Whether you have experience in cable assembly, wiring, soldering, or general production, or you’re looking to build hands-on technical skills, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assembling cables and wiring harnesses from technical drawings
- Using soldering irons, crimp tools, and wire preparation machines
- Working with hand and power tools in a production environment
- Inspecting finished products to ensure high-quality standards
- Meeting daily production targets and deadlines
- Recording work accurately and following quality procedures
- Working as part of a team to keep production running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and technical drawings
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable and able to commute to Silverstone
Desirable (not required):
- Experience in cable assembly / wiring / electronics / manufacturing / production operative roles
- Soldering or crimping experience
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification
No experience? No problem – full training provided.
