Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Hotel Reception and Events Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our establishment and the driving force behind memorable guest experiences. In this role, you will manage front desk operations, assist guests with their needs, and coordinate a variety of events to ensure seamless execution. Your energetic approach and exceptional hospitality skills will create a positive atmosphere that encourages guest loyalty and elevates our reputation.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing outstanding guest services with professionalism and a friendly attitude
Manage all front desk activities, including check-in, check-out, reservations, and phone etiquette to ensure smooth operations
Coordinate event planning details such as venue setup, catering arrangements, equipment needs, and scheduling to deliver flawless events
Serve as the primary point of contact for guests and event clients, addressing inquiries promptly and efficiently
Collaborate with various departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled and events run smoothly from start to finish
Maintain accurate records of bookings, guest preferences, and event details using hotel management software
Handle guest concerns or complaints with tact and professionalism, turning challenges into positive resolutions

Qualifications

Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is highly preferred
Excellent guest service skills with a warm, approachable demeanor
Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of event coordination processes and hospitality industry standards
Proficiency in hotel management software or similar booking systems is desirable
A friendly, energetic attitude with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences
