The Type of Person We’re Looking For:

We’re searching for someone who takes pride in doing things properly and values both security and customer service. Location: Trafford Park, Manchester (M17 1HQ) & Nationwide (Driving Days)
Hours: Full Time, Monday–Friday, Minimum 40 hours/week (overtime required)

About National IT Disposal:
National IT Disposal (NID) is a leading provider of secure IT asset disposal, recycling, data destruction, and refurbishment services across the UK. We’re committed to data security, sustainability, and delivering a professional service to a diverse range of clients.The Role:
We’re looking for a reliable, security-conscious Driver & Warehouse Operative to join our growing team. You’ll split your time between our secure Manchester warehouse and travelling nationwide to collect IT equipment from client sites in our GPS- and CCTV-monitored vans.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect IT equipment from client locations across the UK, ensuring professional, secure handling at all times
Safely drive and operate company vans (minimum 1 year van driving experience required)
Barcode scan and record assets at client sites and during warehouse processing
Assist with unloading, sorting, and preparing IT equipment for data destruction, refurbishment, or recycling
Maintain accurate records and complete all necessary documentation
Support the warehouse team with general duties as needed
Uphold strict security, safety, and GDPR compliance procedures

What We’re Looking For:

Clean UK driving licence (essential)
Minimum 1 year’s experience driving vans (multi-drop or collection preferred)
Clean criminal record (enhanced DBS checks required for all staff)
Interest in technology and IT equipment
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Good communication and customer service skills
Willingness to travel and occasionally work additional hours as required
