Job Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst Programmer to join our IT Department. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering technology solutions that support the continued growth, efficiency and resilience of the business.
This role will lead the development and enhancement of business-critical systems, ensuring they continue to deliver long-term value while supporting an expanding retail operation. You'll provide technical leadership across a range of development projects, working closely with stakeholders to design scalable, maintainable and commercially aligned solutions that improve operational performance and reduce business risk.
Managing and developing a team of Analyst Programmers and Junior Analyst Programmers, you'll foster a collaborative and high-performing environment, championing best practice throughout the software development lifecycle. You'll also play a key role in shaping solution architecture, driving continuous improvement and ensuring our technology platforms are well positioned to support future business growth.

Minimum Criteria To Apply
- Significant experience across the full software development lifecycle, with extensive expertise in IBM i (AS/400) platform, with strong proficiency in RPG programming

Proven experience leading software development projects and coordinating technical delivery within a complex business environment.

Experience managing, mentoring and developing technical teams, with the ability to inspire high performance and continuous improvement.

Strong ERP development and software integration experience, including developing interfaces between core and peripheral systems.

Experience working within retail and EPOS environments, with knowledge of warehouse and distribution centre software systems.

Extensive experience investigating, troubleshooting and resolving complex software and application issues.

Strong solution design and application architecture experience, with the ability to develop scalable, maintainable and commercially focused systems.
