We are currently looking for a reliable, proactive, and customer-focused Night Porter to join the team at Lochgreen House Hotel. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences. As Night Porter, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the hotel during overnight hours, maintaining high standards of service, safety, and presentation at all times.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Setting up wedding and event spaces for weddings, conferences, and special occasions.
Assisting guests with late check-ins and check-outs, responding promptly to requests and enquiries.
Carrying out regular security and safety checks throughout the hotel to ensure guest wellbeing.
Assisting with luggage, deliveries, and maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming environment.
Providing bar service during the night shift in a friendly and professional manner.
Completing night audit procedures and balancing daily financial records accurately.
Reporting maintenance issues, incidents, or security concerns to the appropriate departments.
Supporting other departments where required to ensure smooth overnight operations.

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a similar hospitality or hotel role is preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable manner.
Ability to work independently, use initiative, and remain calm under pressure.
Flexible and reliable, with availability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Professional presentation and a strong work ethic.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
A valid driver’s licence and access to your own transport is desirable due to shift times.
