Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Private Client Paralegal to join our legal team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support high-net-worth individuals with their estate planning, wills, trusts, and probate matters. Duties
- Assist solicitors with preparing legal documents related to estate planning, wills, trusts, and probate cases
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant documentation from clients and third parties
- Manage case files efficiently, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
- Draft correspondence, reports, and legal summaries using Microsoft Word
- Organise client meetings and appointments using Microsoft Outlook
- Maintain detailed records of case progress and client communications
- Liaise effectively with clients, providing updates and gathering necessary information in a professional manner
- Support the team with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management using Microsoft Excel
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality and data protection regulations at all times
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Effective time management to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good IT skills with the ability to adapt to new software or systems quickly
- Demonstrated attention to detail in document preparation and case management
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a professional setting
