As a Legal Support Assistant, you will play a key role in the smooth and efficient running of the Debtlink team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative and secretarial support to fee earners within the team
- Preparing, formatting and amending legal documents and correspondence
- Opening and closing files and maintaining accurate electronic and paper records
- Liaising with clients, courts, and third parties in a professional and timely manner
- Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and supporting workflow processes
- Assisting with billing, file compliance, and general team administration
We are keen to hear from candidates who are organised, proactive, and keen to develop a career in legal support. You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in an administrative or legal support role (legal experience desirable but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
- A professional and client‑focused approach
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
