We are currently looking for two enthusiastic and flexible Fitness Advisors to join our friendly Gym Team for an average of 16.25 hours and 15.42 hours a week, over a rolling 3-week rota.
Role 1 Shift Pattern (16.25 hours)
- Week 1: Tuesday 1400-2215 / Wednesday 1530-2000
- Week 2: Tuesday 1400-2215 / Wednesday 1530-2000 / Saturday 1145-1700
- Week 3: Tuesday 1400-22.15 / Wednesday 1530-2000 / Saturday 0645-1200
Role 2 Shift Pattern (15.42 hours)
- Week 1: Tuesday 0630-1200 / Wednesday 0630-1200 / Sunday 1145-1700
- Week 2: Tuesday 0630-1200 / Wednesday 0545-1400
- Week 3: Tuesday 0630-1200 / Wednesday 0630-1200 / Sunday 1145-1700
The Gym is open Monday to Friday 06:00-22:00, Saturday & Sunday 07:00-17:00. Other shifts available for holiday and sickness cover as required.
You will act as a primary point of contract for all customers, monitoring the gym floor and offering assistance and advice to customers. You will also deliver inductions and basic training sessions to new members, helping them to identify and work towards their fitness goals.
If you have an appropriate Level 2 or 3 qualification, such as YMCA Gym Instructor, some experience in Health & Fitness and/or related industries, and a passion for fitness we’d love to hear from you.
You may be expected to deliver Group Cycling sessions as determined by the rota, so experience of this is desirable but not essential as training can be provided. Experience of teaching aqua aerobics, circuit style classes, HIIT or any other group fitness formats would also be an advantage.

Rates of Pay:
- £13.23 per hour (18+)
- £10.30 per hour (16-17)
