About the Role: Jodrell Construction are seeking an experienced and hands-on Working Site Joinery Foreman to join our growing construction team specialising in disabled adaptations. This role is ideal for a skilled joiner who can lead by example on-site while ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance. This project is situated in Stonehouse, Gloucester and is approximately 48 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out high-quality joinery work.
- Supervise and coordinate site operatives and subcontractors.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and to the required standards.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules of work.
- Liaise with contract managers to ensure a smooth, productively run site is maintained.
- Maintain accurate site records and report progress regularly.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience, minimum 5 years, as a Joiner with supervisory or foreman responsibilities.
- Ability to manage projects on-site from start to completion.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Valid CSCS card (essential).
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification (preferred).
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
