LogiForce Talent is looking for Hospital Porter's to start in Sutton-in-Ashfield.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Hospital Porter to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of patients, equipment, and supplies within the hospital premises. This position offers an opportunity to contribute positively to patient care and hospital operations while working in a dynamic healthcare environment. The role is paid and suitable for individuals committed to providing excellent service in a busy medical setting.

Duties

Safely transport patients to and from wards, departments, and diagnostic areas, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times
Assist with the movement of medical equipment, supplies, and documentation around the hospital
Support hospital staff by delivering items promptly across different departments
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of designated areas, including storage rooms and corridors
Respond promptly to urgent requests for patient transfers or equipment movement
Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff
Provide assistance to visitors or patients as needed, offering directions or information courteously

Qualifications

Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service environment is advantageous but not essential
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills and a professional manner when interacting with patients, visitors, and staff
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Physical fitness to handle lifting, pushing, or pulling equipment and patients safely
Valid driving licence is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for vehicle operation if required
A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to hospital policies
