A really exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, flexible individual to work within the Housing division.
We are seeking an individual who has a positive attitude, energy, adaptability and is highly organised to provide leadership and management of our responsive housing inspectors, in-house responsive maintenance operational teams as well as external contractors who are key to maintaining and improving our 9,500 council homes.
This is a unique opportunity for the right individual to make a positive difference to the way we provide an integral responsive service to our tenants across the county.
You will be responsible for:
Leading and managing a multi-disciplinary team to support the effective and efficient delivery of responsive building related works.
Managing a multi-disciplinary team who are responsible for the delivery of all responsive maintenance works and property statutory compliance.
Managing the quality and efficiency of works undertaken by external contractors and in-house resources in accordance with statutory requirements, Contract Procedure Rules and framework agreements.
Our teams operate from 2 depots, based in Trostre, Llanelli (South) or Johnstown, Carmarthen (North), however this post will be based in Trostre Depot.
