Job Overview

Flexible Hours | Temporary with Opportunity to Become Permanent

Location: King’s Lynn, Norfolk

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and organised Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator to join our busy accounts team, supporting a diverse group of successful local businesses.

This role is initially offered on a temporary basis, with the opportunity to become a permanent position for the right person.

We understand that everyone has different commitments, so we are happy to offer flexible working hours. Ideally, we are looking for someone who can work Monday to Friday, with working hours that can be agreed to suit the successful applicant.

The Role

The successful candidate will assist our accounts department with a variety of day-to-day bookkeeping and finance administration tasks, including:

Purchase ledger
Sales ledger
Bank reconciliations
Credit control
Processing invoices and payments
General bookkeeping
Assisting with VAT and financial records
Maintaining accurate accounting records
General office and accounts administration

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Has previous bookkeeping or accounts experience.
Is accurate, organised and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
Has a good working knowledge of accounting software (Xero preferred).
Is confident using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Can work both independently and as part of a friendly team.
Has excellent attention to detail.
Is trustworthy, reliable and professional.
