Job Summary

This will be a new coffee shop opening end of august/ start of September. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated baker to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of bakery items, ensuring high-quality standards and exceptional food safety practices. Your enthusiasm for baking and kitchen experience will help create a vibrant dining environment that delights our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills while contributing to a dynamic team committed to excellence.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards, maintaining consistency and quality.
Follow all food safety guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to uphold health regulations.
Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas to ensure a safe and organized kitchen.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer service.
Participate in inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management of stock levels or shortages.

Experience

Prior experience in food preparation, or baking
Strong knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and food safety standards.
Experience with baking or pastry preparation
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with culinary techniques and kitchen equipment.
Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory for motivated learners.
