Full job description

JOB TITLE

Accounts Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION

Your working day will include:

Managing our Sage 50 Accounts system
Dealing with all other aspects of running business accounts
Inputting Customer & Supplier orders on our Access database
Inputting Catalogue Data into our Access database
Dealing with Customer & Supplier queries on the phone and via email

ABILITY

You should:

Be proficient with Sage 50 Accounts
Have worked with the Microsoft Office suite of software
Be able to work quickly and efficiently using your own initiative
Have good keyboard skills and a fast typing speed
Have worked in a busy office, online company, or in auto parts
Have a confident and polite telephone manner

OTHER TASKS

You may also be expected to cover staff who are on holiday or sick:

Light duties in our busy warehouse
Unpacking and labelling orders in the goods-in area
Packing and shipping outgoing orders in the goods-out area
Inputting parcel shipping data into our couriers software

HOURS

We work a 40 hour week:

Mon 7:30am-4:30pm, Tue-Thu 8:00am-4:30pm, Fri 8:00am-4:00pm
1/2 hour lunch
Any overtime is always voluntary never compulsory
4 weeks holiday plus all normal bank holidays
We close between Xmas and New Year so there will always be a few days compulsory leave within that period

PAY

Pay and employment details:

£14.01ph / £2428.40pm
You will start on a 3 month trial

WORKPLACE

Our warehouse and office details:

We are on a green field site away from any industry
You will be working in a clean, dry and warm environment
You will have your own desk and computer terminal
Lunch can be taken in our staff room with comfortable seating
Microwave, fridge, kettle, tea and coffee are all provided
Our company has a reputation for being a nice place to work so you should be quite happy here
