Nail Technician Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician or Beauty Therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service while delivering high-quality nail care or other services. As a Technician, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for clients and ensuring their satisfaction through professional treatments.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of nail services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the work area and tools.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art and techniques to offer clients innovative options.
Educate clients on proper nail care and maintenance practices.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Experience

Previous experience as a Technician is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate.
A passion for beauty and wellness, with an eagerness to learn new skills.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

The successful applicant should ideally be confident in nail treatments, including:

Manicures
Gel polish
Pedicures
Nail treatments
Basic nail art

Additional beauty qualifications and experience in treatments such as waxing, facials and massage would be an advantage.

For applicants still studying at college, we are happy to consider someone who is already qualified in nails and working towards additional beauty therapy qualifications.
