The Role
Drivers are responsible for the safe, secure, and timely delivery of pharmaceutical products and healthcare goods to pharmacy branches across the Southeast and London. The post holder will play a vital role in ensuring medicines and healthcare products are transported accurately and in compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards, company procedures, and all relevant road traffic legislation. This is a fixed route driving role as oppose to multi drop.
The successful candidate will represent the company professionally while maintaining high standards of customer service and ensuring the safe operation of company vehicles. Must hold a Full Uk driving licence
Key Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicles up to Long Wheelbase Mercedes Sprinter size.
- Safely load and unload vehicles in accordance with company procedures.
- Deliver pharmaceutical products and healthcare goods to pharmacy branches.
- Collect returns and transfer stock between locations as required.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects, damage, or maintenance requirements.
- Ensure deliveries are completed accurately, securely, and within agreed timescales.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records.
- Follow all road traffic regulations, company policies, and health and safety procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards when transporting pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure company vehicles always remain clean and secure.
- Respond flexibly to operational requirements, including occasional short-notice assignments and early start times between 04:30 and 05:00.
- Act as a professional ambassador for the company when interacting with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and members of the public.

- Compliance and Safety Ensures full compliance with company policies, which includes 6 monthly driving licence checks. Follow all health and safety procedures as instructed by your line manager.
