Overview
We are looking for an experienced Self-Employed Painter and Decorator to join our small, friendly team. We provide a consistent flow of local residential and commercial work around Mid Devon and surrounding areas, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality finishes while we handle scheduling and client sourcing.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces (cleaning, sanding, priming)
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and decorative finishes to a high standard
- Work on residential and commercial properties
- Maintain clean and safe working environments
- Communicate professionally with clients on-site
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 minimum (NVQ Level 3 desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
- Own vehicle (essential)
- Proven experience in painting and decorating
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
- Good organisation and communication skills
