Working Hours: Monday – Friday: 6:00am – 3:00pm. Overtime if required. You will have a total of 1-hour break; 2 x 30-minute breaks unpaid.
Pay: Based on piecework rate

Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Deboner to join our production team. The Deboner plays a crucial role in the meat processing line, ensuring the efficient and accurate deboning of meat products. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and a good understanding of food safety practices.
Duties:
- Perform precise deboning of meat products according to specifications.
- Remove bones from meat products with precision and care
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
- Report any quality issues or concerns to the team leader.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Operate and maintain deboning equipment
- Breaking down whole birds to wings, legs, drumsticks, oyster thighs and breast
- Removal of femur bone from oyster thigh
Skills:
- Knife handling proficiency
- Attention to detail
- Physical stamina and strength
- Knowledge of meat cuts and anatomy
- Ability to work in a controlled cold temperature environment. (Temperature controlled room: 8°c to 12°c. Fridges: 0°c to 4°c. Blast Freezer: -20°c to-25°c. Holding Freezer: -18°c)
- Good hand-eye coordination

- Ability to stand for long periods
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Deboner or similar role in a meat processing environment.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Flexibility for overtime when necessary.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to work standing for extended periods.
- Adherence to hygiene rules and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Knowledge of meat cuts and anatomy.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production setting.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Understanding of HACCP principles is preferred.
