Full job description

The Event Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Event Manager and Event Operations Manager in the coordination and successful delivery of weddings, conferences, private functions, and corporate events. The role acts as a key point of contact for clients on the day of their event, ensuring all final details are communicated effectively to the operational teams and that every event is delivered to the highest standard.

The Event Coordinator works closely with all departments to ensure seamless communication, exceptional customer service, and an outstanding guest experience throughout the event, providing support to both clients and the operational team to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Event Manager and Event Operations Manager with the coordination and delivery of weddings, conferences, private events, and corporate functions.
Act as a key point of contact for clients on the day of their event, providing a warm welcome and ensuring all agreed arrangements are delivered.
Conduct final checks prior to guest arrival to ensure event spaces are set up in accordance with function sheets and venue standards.
Liaise with internal departments, including Operations, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Reception, and Maintenance, to ensure all event requirements are delivered effectively.
Coordinate supplier arrivals, deliveries, and venue access on the day of the event.
Respond promptly to client requests and operational queries, resolving any issues professionally and efficiently.
Support the handover between the Event Management team and operational teams, ensuring all event information is communicated clearly.
Attend weddings and events to provide hands-on support throughout the day, ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Pay: £17.00-£20.00 per hour
