Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Specialist to join our team. This role involves accurately inputting, updating, and managing data within our organisational systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, proficiency in various computer applications, and excellent attention to detail. This paid position offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our administrative processes while developing valuable skills in data management and office administration.

Responsibilities

Enter and update data accurately into company databases and software such as Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and Google Workspace
Verify the accuracy of data by reviewing source documents and cross-referencing information
Maintain organised records of all data entries and updates for easy retrieval
Assist with administrative tasks including filing, document management, and correspondence handling
Utilise phone etiquette skills when communicating with clients or internal teams regarding data-related queries
Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information at all times
Support team members with ad hoc administrative duties as required

Experience

Previous office experience is preferred, particularly in administrative or clerical roles
Proficiency in computer skills including typing, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and QuickBooks
Demonstrated experience in data entry with high accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Familiarity with office equipment and software applications used for data management and communication
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are desirable
Prior experience in clerical or administrative support roles will be advantageous

Pay: £24,420.00-£43,453.38 per year
