What We Do
Anglo Recycling UK based company, our doorstep collections operation makes regular, free, collections of unwanted clothing and household items, direct from our customers’ homes.
We only collect from customers who have booked with us, so that we can operate more efficiently and so our customers can organise and plan their donation in the most hassle-free way possible.
Once the booking is made, our customers simply put their items into boxes or bags and leave them outside their homes at the allotted time and date.
We collect items such as clothes, shoes, books, DVDs, bric-a-brac, towels, linin, small electronics, crockery and cutlery.
Items are then sorted at our warehouse and shipped to countries that need them the most.
Duties Include:
- Unload goods from vans efficiently and safely.
- Sort and separate collected items into designated categories.
- Ensure all items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Sorting goods
- Maintain a clean and organised unloading area.
- Follow all company health and safety regulations.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
Skills Required:
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks and lift heavy items.
- Attention to detail when sorting and organising goods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
Reliability and punctuality are essential.
Work Location:
In person at the warehouse GU33 6DD
Must live within approx. 30 miles of Liss GU33 6DD or be able to reliably commute. Driving to this location is required as there are no public transport links.
Hours:
Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm
Immediate start available.
