Full job description

Job Overview:

We are currently recruiting a reliable person to join our team as a solar PV labourer. The successful applicant will work in a team and be responsible for assisting with all the various works that are involved in the installation of solar panels systems. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to perform manual labour. You will be required to operate a variety of tools and equipment.

Duties:

· To assist in the construction of on-roof & ground based solar panel systems.

· Work in a team and take instructions from the team leader.

· Assist with the setup and cleanup of work areas.

· Operate hand tools and power tools as required.

· Perform other duties as assigned

Experience:

· Must have previous experience in solar install, roofing or general labouring.

· Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.

· Ability to take instruction and complete tasks as requested in a timely fashion.

Requirements:

· Ability to perform manual labour for extended periods of time.

· Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity.

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment to complete the task at hand.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.

· Ability to work/lodge away from home.

CSCS Card is required for this position.
