Warehouse Operative - Uxbridge UB8 2GA

Monday - Friday, no evenings or weekends

We are now looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our West London branch .

About the Role

We seek to appoint a full-time Warehouse Operative who will be responsible for accurately receiving, storing, picking and the loading of stock, in order to provide a high level of service to our customers.

Responsibilities of the Role:

Unload supplier vehicles, sign for goods received when required and store goods in the correct location.
Maintain orderly storage of all stock.
Pick stock according to sales requirements and load vehicles in the correct manner.
Operate a fork lift truck to move stock as required in a safe manner at all times and in accordance with training received.
Carry out daily checks and operate a fork lift trucks and other mechanical handling equipment in a safe condition.
Carry out health and safety checks and ensure a safe working practice at all times.

About You:

Previous experience in a similar warehouse environment is preferred.
Previous Fork Lift Truck experience is essential.
Builders merchants or distribution experience preferred.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate order processing.
Knowledge of materials handling procedures and safety regulations within a warehouse setting.
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Flexibility and a "can do" attitude.
