At Gorgeous Retail Group we run a unique type of business, concentrating on valued brands, and dedicating ourselves to developing excellent relationships that ensure our customers stay with us on a long-term basis.

We are now looking to fill a key role within the team to meet to maintain accurate costing and pricing of goods pending selection and implementation of an upgraded Finance & Accounting package.

The Role

We are seeking a professional, hardworking and proactive Accounts Assistant to take ownership of the day-to-day cost of goods and sales pricing function as well as other related accounting functions.

The successful candidate will join the company at a time of significant change as we diversify our sales platforms and brand representation across our marketplace accelerator division.

Key Responsibilities

Determining accurate cost of goods figures utilising Stock management software.
Calculation of sales price for each sales platform using strict sales and cost criteria to deliver margin within a specified range.
Daily monitoring of sales margins.
Other ad hoc accounts functions to support the finance and accounts team.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

Experience working in an accounts role with purchase ledger and stock.
Good written and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail.
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, adept at working with and creating formulas, look-ups and pivot tables.
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks.

Able to work on own initiative and as a team member

Computer skills: The position entails daily use of the following computer & web systems: MS Office including word and excel, proprietary warehouse management systems (orderwise), third partypostage/logistics systems, web platform (magento), sage line 50, Inventory Planner
