We are seeking a proactive and community-focused individual to manage the day-to-day operation of an Area Library, overseeing service delivery, staff supervision, and building management.
The role involves coordinating a range of library and community hub services, working closely with partners and co-located services to maximise use, and supporting staff across a cluster of libraries. You will act as a key point of contact for staffing matters, maintain accurate records, and contribute to service development, including support for carers and community initiatives. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, organisational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, customer-focused services.
