MARKETING DIRECTOR, Full Time

Marketing Director – Customer Growth & Digital

Lead Psycle’s complete marketing function, with particular responsibility for
membership, retention, CRM and the performance of our new website and app.

Psycle is looking for an exceptional Marketing Director to lead our entire marketing function and help shape the next stage of our growth. This is not a traditional brand marketing role.

We are looking for a commercially minded leader with deep expertise in membership,
retention, CRM, digital customer experience and performance analytics.

You will lead a talented multidisciplinary team covering brand, campaigns, social media, community, CRM, website, app and digital performance. Your mandate is to understand how customers discover Psycle, register, purchase, return, become members and increase their frequency over time.

What You’ll Lead

Set and deliver Psycle’s overall marketing strategy in support of revenue, EBITDA,
membership and studio occupancy objectives.
Lead, develop and hold the Marketing team accountable across digital, CRM, brand,
social, community and campaigns.
Grow membership, improve retention and increase customer frequency and lifetime
value.
Improve conversion from registration to first purchase and first to second purchase.
Establish clear reporting across customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, channel
performance and marketing return on investment.
Own the commercial performance and continuous development of Psycle’s new website
and app.
Set the strategy and targets for CRM, segmentation, automation and customer lifecycle
activity.
Oversee paid search, paid social, SEO and other acquisition channels.
Manage marketing budgets, agencies and external partners against clear commercial
outcomes.
Protect and develop Psycle’s premium brand across every customer touchpoint.
Report marketing performance, risks and opportunities to the CEO, leadership team and Board.

What we're looking for

Senior marketing leadership experience within a premium, multi-site consumer business.
Strong experience of membership, subscription, loyalty or repeat-purchase models.
A proven record of improving retention, frequency, conversion and customer value.
Deep practical knowledge of CRM, customer segmentation, automation and lifecycle
marketing.
Experience leading website or app launches and continuously improving digital
performance.
Strong understanding of analytics, conversion funnels, SEO, paid media and attribution.
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and specialist agencies
Commercial confidence, including budget ownership, forecasting and ROI analysis.
Strong brand judgement and an understanding of how to protect a premium customer
experience.
The ability to move comfortably between strategy, data, leadership and hands-on
execution.

Relevant backgrounds: premium fitness, hospitality, leisure, beauty, retail, wellness or other multi-site consumer businesses.
