Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene within our office environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the office are kept tidy and presentable, contributing to a pleasant working atmosphere for all employees. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks and an understanding of commercial cleaning standards.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas regularly.
Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure compliance with health standards.
Assist with special cleaning projects as required, such as deep cleans or post-event clean-ups.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning duties.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions meticulously.
Good organisational skills to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues professionally.
