Experienced Glazier / Carpenter / Window Installer – Full Time

Horizon Home Improvements Ltd is a well-established company with over 20 years of experience. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Glazier/Carpenter to join our highly motivated Installation team based in Launceston.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, has a strong eye for detail, and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team. A background in glazing, carpentry, or a related trade is essential. Window fitting experience is advantageous, but transferable skills from other trade roles will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of windows, doors, and roof lights in residential and new-build settings
- Sunroom and conservatory installations
- Roofline work, balustrades, garage doors, decking, and cladding
- Fixing frames on a first fix or rip and fit basis (preferred)
- Working with UPVC, aluminium, and timber frames (preferred)
- Using hand and power tools in a site environment
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
- Communicating progress clearly with customers and team members
- Problem solving on-site and ensuring work is completed to a high standard
- Working both independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- Proven experience in glazing, carpentry, or similar trade background
- Strong attention to detail and pride in finishing work
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated and reliable
- Full clean UK driving licence (essential)
