Wharfedale Decorations Ltd, established in 1984, is a well-respected and long-established commercial painting and decorating contractor, recognised for delivering exceptional workmanship across a wide variety of projects throughout the region.
As a result of continued growth, a strong pipeline of future work, and increasing demand from both new and returning clients, we are looking to expand our team. We are currently seeking an apprentice to join us.
The apprentice will be enrolled onto a Level 2 Painter & Decorator course with an accredited training provider. It will offer a combination of hands-on experience and formal training with the provider.

Essential Criteria:
· A genuine interest in painting and decorating as a trade and career
· Willingness to learn and follow instructions both on site and in college
· Good timekeeping and reliability
· Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
· Attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
· Willingness to travel
Desirable Criteria
- Some previous experience or interest in practical, hands-on work (e.g. DIY, construction, art/design, etc.)
- Driving licence or ability to travel to different sites
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Pay will be in line with the National Minimum Wage for apprentices.
