Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Self Employed Landscaper to join our small team.

In this role, you will be an essential part of our landscaping projects, providing hands-on support to ensure smooth operations and high-quality results.

Your positive approach and willingness to learn will contribute significantly to the success of our projects.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills in garden landscaping, garden maintenance, and equipment operation while working in a fast-paced environment.

All roles are paid positions, emphasising the value we place on your contribution from day one.

Responsibilities

Assist with maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, mowing and general gardening duties to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery safely and efficiently under supervision
Support excavation activities using equipment like excavators or manual tools to prepare sites for construction or planting projects
Carry out general construction tasks including material handling, site cleanup, and assisting skilled tradespeople on-site
Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members

Qualifications

Previous experience in construction, landscaping, gardening, or horticulture is highly desirable but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential
Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools and small machinery is advantageous
Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and wheelbarrows confidently
Basic understanding of landscape maintenance practices and horticultural principles is beneficial
Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labour outdoors in various weather conditions
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards
