Build quality. Build your career.
At Decrobond, we're proud to manufacture some of the UK's highest-quality bespoke timber fire doors, doorsets, glazed screens and washroom systems. Our products are installed in hospitals, schools, universities, commercial buildings and prestigious developments across the UK, where quality, precision and reliability are essential.
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Production Joinery Assembler to join our team.
If you're someone who enjoys producing quality work, takes pride in craftsmanship and wants to work in a modern manufacturing environment where your skills are recognised, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
You'll play an important role in assembling our bespoke joinery products, ensuring every door, doorset and glazed screen is manufactured to the highest standards before leaving our factory.
Working from technical drawings and specifications, you'll be part of a skilled production team committed to delivering outstanding products for our customers.
No two days are the same, and every project presents a new challenge.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assembling bespoke timber fire doors, doorsets, glazed screens and washroom systems.
- Reading and interpreting production drawings and specifications.
- Carrying out quality inspections throughout the assembly process.
- Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Working with colleagues to meet production targets and customer deadlines.
- Ensuring all products meet our high standards of quality and workmanship.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Identifying opportunities to improve production processes and efficiency.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their work and enjoys producing products to the highest standard.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience within a joinery, woodworking or manufacturing environment.
- A good understanding of woodworking techniques and materials.
- The ability to read technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- A commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- A proactive approach to health and safety.
An NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Carpentry & Joinery would be an advantage, although it's not essential.
Why Join Decrobond?
At Decrobond, we know that our people are our greatest asset. We invest in our team and believe that quality products are built by skilled people who care about what they do.
When you join us, you'll benefit from:
- A permanent, full-time position with a growing business.
- Competitive pay based on experience.
- Opportunities for training and career development.
- Modern manufacturing facilities and equipment.
- A supportive and friendly team environment.
- Company pension.
- Overtime opportunities.
- The chance to work on interesting and technically challenging bespoke projects.
Why You'll Enjoy Working Here
We're not a production line turning out the same product every day. We manufacture bespoke joinery, meaning your skills will be challenged, developed and appreciated.
We're looking for people who care about quality as much as we do—people who enjoy seeing a project come together and take pride in producing work they'll be proud to put their name to.
If you're looking for a long-term career with a company that values craftsmanship, teamwork and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.
Apply today and become part of the Decrobond team.
