The Role
Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint a Semi-Skilled Fabricator to join our night shift team at Ossett. This role suits someone with solid workshop experience who is keen to further develop their fabrication skills in a structured, quality-driven environment. You will support the fabrication and assembly of acoustic enclosures while maintaining strong quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the fabrication and assembly of acoustic enclosure components from engineering drawings
Measure, mark out and prepare materials for fabrication processes
Support experienced Fabricators and Welders on complex builds
Operate workshop equipment such as drills, saws and hand tools safely and effectively
Carry out basic tack welding where trained to do so
Maintain quality standards and follow workshop procedures at all times
Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets on shift
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a fabrication or engineering workshop environment
Basic ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Good practical skills and strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn and develop within a heavy fabrication setting
Positive attitude, reliability and strong work ethic
Any experience within acoustic enclosures or sheet/structural steel would be beneficial
Night shift hours and uplift will be discussed at interview. Overtime opportunities are regularly available.
