About Us

At A Room in the Garden, we specialize in creating beautiful, bespoke garden rooms and outdoor spaces. We pride ourselves on high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional design. We are currently looking for a talented, experienced Graphic Designer to join us on a freelance/short-term contract basis to help us bring our latest print marketing and design projects to life.

The Role

We need a safe pair of hands to take our design concepts and prepare them flawlessly for print. You will be responsible for ensuring all layouts, typography, and assets are print-ready and meet exact technical specifications.

This is an in-office position. You will be working directly with our team at our office in Hove to ensure seamless collaboration and fast turnaround times.

What You’ll Do:

Prepare, format, and finalize high-quality graphic designs for print production (brochures, portfolios, marketing materials).
Ensure all files are technically correct (bleed, crop marks, color profiles, and resolution).
Collaborate closely with our team to maintain brand consistency and meet project deadlines.

What We Are Looking For:

Proven Experience: A strong background in graphic design with a specific, demonstrable track record of preparing artwork for print.
Adobe Experts: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is an absolute must.
Eye for Detail: Spot-on precision when it comes to layouts, typography, and print specs.
Bonus Points: Experience with SketchUp is a massive plus, though not a dealbreaker!
Reliability: Ability to hit the ground running and work efficiently from our office.
