The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, and HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist to join our growing team. In this role, you won't just be running standard assessments; you will be an integral part of a wrap-around clinical team, designing and implementing functional communication programs that make a real-world difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment & Intervention: Deliver formal and informal communication assessments for a diverse caseload (including autism, developmental delays, and complex communication needs).
- MDT Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with our Behaviour Analysts, and PBS specialists to create seamless, integrated intervention plans.
- AAC Implementation: Assess, implement, and monitor Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems (low and high-tech) to give everyone a voice.
- Training & Empowerment: Provide coaching and training to parents, caregivers, schools, and our internal therapy assistants to ensure consistency of care.
- Dynamic Practice: Deliver therapy across a variety of settings, including our specialized clinic, client homes, schools, and via telehealth.
About You

Essential Requirements:
- A recognized degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Current registration with the HCPC and membership of RCSLT.
- A passion for working with neurodivergent individuals and complex needs.
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to work collaboratively across disciplines.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Ability to travel to a vairety of places to deliver our services
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience or training in specific AAC packages (e.g., PECS, Proloquo2Go, AAC switches).
- Knowledge or experience of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
