Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Technician to join our professional dental team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality dental prosthetics and appliances, ensuring they meet precise specifications and patient requirements. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about patient care and dental technology to develop their skills within a supportive environment. The position is suitable for an experienced professional.

Duties

Fabricate dental prostheses, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances, according to detailed technical drawings and patient prescriptions.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards as well as industry regulations.
Collaborate closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals to interpret patient needs and technical specifications.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used for each case.
Utilise specialised IT software for designing dental components where applicable.
Organise workflow efficiently to meet deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of quality.
Assist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress or any issues encountered.

Experience

Prior experience in dental technology or a related healthcare field is essential.
Knowledge of patient care practices relevant to dental prosthetics is desirable.
Proficiency in English, with strong communication skills essential for effective teamwork and client interactions.
Basic IT skills, including familiarity with dental CAD/CAM software, are preferred.
Organisational skills are vital to manage multiple projects efficiently whilst maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: £24,420.00-£53,180.34 per year
