The Fire and Stove Shop Ltd first started in Trecastle and has been in Brecon town centre for over 20 years. We are a small business specialising in supplying and installing stoves and fireplaces for your home. Every installation that we carry out, is completed with experience, expertise and pride in this profession.
A position has become available for a HETAS registered engineer or a person with experience in the building trade who is willing to work towards a HETAS qualification.
What you’ll be doing
· Installing wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves to a high standard
· Carrying out chimney work, installing liners and flue systems
· Fireplace alterations, involving openings and structural work
· Working with full HETAS compliance and building regs
· Always giving a professional, respectful and friendly customer experience
Essential skills
· HETAS registered or experience with willingness to obtain
· Ability to work comfortably at heights
· Ability to lift and move heavy objects using proper lifting techniques
· Full UK driving licence
· Good communication and customer-facing skills
· Be reliable, prompt and punctual
What we offer
- Competitive pay based on experience - pay shown is based on no experience and will change if HETAS qualified and levels of experience

- The standard hours of work are 8.30am to job finish, Monday to Friday and overtime on Saturdays working 10am to 2pm (occasionally)
