Job Title: Assistant Manager – Disco Bowl Newport
Location: Newport, UK

The Role:
We’re looking for a confident and reliable Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day running of our vibrant venue. You’ll play a key role in leading shifts, supporting the team, and making sure our standards in service, safety, and operations are consistently met.

This is a hands-on role, and you’ll need to bring energy, organisation, and a positive approach to supporting the General Manager and wider leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead shifts and support the General Manager with daily operations
Motivate and support a high-performing team across all departments
Take responsibility for cash handling, end-of-day procedures, and stock management
Deliver excellent customer service and be a visible presence on shift
Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all guests
Contribute to commercial performance through efficient operations and team engagement

Your Profile:

Experience in a supervisory or junior management role in hospitality, leisure, or retail
A team player who is reliable, organised, and leads by example
Comfortable with stock, cash, and closing procedures
Personal licence holder preferred (or willing to work towards it)
Strong communication skills and able to stay calm under pressure
