Qualified Nurse Team Leader – Join our Care Team
We are recruiting for a Qualified Nurse Team Leader to oversee our client’s clinical needs and assume responsibilities currently carried out by his family. The role includes providing clinical oversight, guiding and supporting staff, ensuring safe and effective care delivery, and managing the ordering of equipment.
Main Responsibilities
- Promote the client’s independence and empowerment in all care activities.
- Deliver care in line with the agreed care plan, Support Workers’ Guide, risk assessments, and all guidance provided by Complexus Care Ltd.
- Work collaboratively with clinical professionals and management, acting as an advocate for the client.
- Support and monitor rehabilitation goals, providing timely feedback and reporting any changes to management.
- Be aware of when care plans and risk assessments require review and notify management.
- Involve the client and team members in setting and achieving care-plan goals, offering support to colleagues when appropriate.
- Comply with all policies and procedures of Complexus Care Ltd.
- Offer flexibility to cover shifts when needed.
- Lead and direct the care team, acting as a professional role model and organising team shift cover when required.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with company and CQC standards, ensuring relevant information is passed to colleagues.
- Take a proactive lead in delivering a high standard of community care.
- Carry out all required personal care and nutritional support for the client.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations.

Hours: Full Time only
Pay: Up to £35.00 per hour
We are looking for a vibrant, fun and engaging individual to join the support team for a young man who values independence, good humour, and being treated like the adult he is. Personality is key — He enjoys friendly banter, interactive support, and people who bring positivity and energy into his day.
This young man has an anoxic brain injury and requires 2:1 support, including two waking night staff. He also lives with: Epilepsy, Dystonia, Anxiety, Gastroparesis, Asthma & Scoliosis
He uses overnight oxygen and a BiPAP, and requires cough assist and suctioning. He has a catheter and a PEG and is non-verbal.
The shift times are as follows:
Day Shift: 8am-8pm 2:1
Waking Night Shift: 8pm-8am 2:1
About You
- You MUST be a Qualified Nurse.
- You are upbeat, approachable, and willing to get stuck in.
- You understand how to support a young adult without being overbearing.
- Non-smokers only (as the home is a completely none-smoking environment)
- Must have a full driving licence – the vehicle is automatic (minimum age 21+ due to insurance).
- Comfortable working in a home that has a dog.
- Able to work flexibly and build a good rapport with this young man and his family.
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service would be desirable
Important Information
