We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Science with a specialism in Physics to join our team at Ysgol Bryn Alyn. This role is all about inspiring students, delivering high‑quality lessons, and helping young people reach their full potential. You’ll be part of a supportive Science department and wider school community that values collaboration and professional growth.
In this role, you’ll plan and teach engaging Physics lessons, track student progress, and create a positive learning environment where every student can succeed. You’ll also play a core part in the pastoral life of the school — building strong relationships, supporting students’ wellbeing, and contributing to a culture where they feel confident and motivated.
We’re looking for someone who brings passion, curiosity, and a commitment to excellent teaching. If you’re organised, reflective, and keen to try new teaching approaches, you’ll fit right in. Whether you’re early in your career or bringing experience, what matters most is your ability to connect with students and make learning meaningful.
This is a great opportunity to make a real impact. As part of a forward‑looking school, you’ll help shape students’ progress across Science and contribute to ongoing developments in teaching, curriculum, and whole‑school improvement. If you’re excited by the chance to help students grow academically and personally, we’d love to hear from you.
An Enhanced DBS & EWC registration is required for this position.
