About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Commercial Plumber / Pipefitter to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of commercial plumbing and pipework systems across a variety of projects, including offices, schools, healthcare facilities, industrial sites, and new-build developments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining excellent health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, modify, and repair commercial plumbing and pipework systems.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Install heating, chilled water, boosted cold water, drainage, and domestic water services.
- Fabricate, assemble, and fit various types of pipework including copper, steel, stainless steel, and plastic systems.
- Carry out pressure testing, commissioning, and fault-finding activities.
- Ensure all work complies with current regulations, standards, and company procedures.
- Work independently or as part of a wider project team.
- Maintain a safe and organised working environment at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commercial Plumber and/or Pipefitter.
- Relevant plumbing qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and pipe installation methods.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- CSCS Card (essential/preferred depending on role).
- IPAF, PASMA, or SSSTS certifications would be advantageous.
