Shape the Future of Building Surveying in Cardiff!

We’re growing our Building Surveying team in our vibrant Cardiff office, building on its outstanding success within an award-winning, multi-disciplinary consultancy. Backed by a strong pipeline of work, this is your chance to make a real impact.

You’ll be at the forefront of establishing a brand-new Building Surveying discipline in Cardiff – an opportunity to leave your mark and help shape the future of our business. We’re looking for a passionate, driven Associate-level Building Surveyor who’s ready to take the next big step in their career.

What you’ll be part of:

Our projects span education and healthcare, public buildings and estates, residential and housing, commercial, and insurance sectors – giving you variety and challenge every day. Beyond technical delivery, you’ll play a key role in client development, financial forecasting, team leadership, and growth.

What we’re looking for:

A proven track record in work-winning and the ambition to drive this discipline forward. If you thrive on responsibility, leadership, and making things happen, this is the role for you.

Main Duties:

Hands on delivery of building surveying services with bias to project work
Leading projects often co-ordinating our in house multi discipline design services
Client management and development
Supervising, managing and mentoring junior members of the team
Technical reviews to manage the quality of our services

The skills and experience you need to have for this role:

MRICS
Consultancy experience, preferably with public sector project experience
Be commercially minded with an enthusiasm for winning work and business development
Be able to manage your own workload
Capable of managing individual team members, organising their work where necessary and providing guidance on projects.
Good communication and client facing skills
Excellent all-round technical building surveying knowledge
An analytical mind with a high level of intellect - combining excellent written and oral skills to produce considered and robust reports and recommendations.
