Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to contribute to a variety of design projects, supporting our marketing and product development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Create and amend technical data sheets to accurately represent product specifications.
- Develop clear and user-friendly installation guides for our product range.
- Produce precise line drawings to support product design and marketing materials.
- Design engaging social media content to enhance brand presence and audience engagement.
- Retouch location photography to maintain high-quality visual standards.
- Design impactful magazine advertisements to promote our products and services.
- Update the company website and sales tools to ensure current and accurate information is accessible.
Experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects (Mac-based).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong skills in layout and typography for both print and digital media.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to adhere to brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency across all materials.
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and multitask when necessary.
- Proficiency in image retouching to maintain high-quality visual content.
- Meticulous attention to detail, including proof-reading all work to ensure accuracy.
- Commitment to staying updated with new technology, software, and systems.
- Strong conceptual thinking abilities.
- Highly motivated with a willingness to learn new skills and software.
Desirable Skills (Not essential)
- Knowledge of 3D software modelling/rendering software
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Experience with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD or similar
- Email campaign creation and web design
