Full job description

Most underwriting roles ask you to assess deals.

This one asks you to help build the machine behind them.

We're partnering with an award-winning, high-growth fintech lender that is redefining how ambitious UK businesses access capital. As lending volumes continue to scale, they're looking for a commercially minded Credit Analyst or Senior Credit Analyst to join their growing Risk team.

This is not a "sit in your lane and process applications" role.

You'll independently assess lending opportunities while helping design and improve the underwriting systems, risk models and decision-making frameworks that power the business.

You'll thrive here if you:

✔ Have 3-5+ years underwriting experience within SME lending, banking or fintech

✔ Enjoy making commercial decisions and taking ownership

✔ Love improving processes and building scalable solutions

✔ Have a growth mindset and enjoy fast-moving, ever-evolving environments

✔ Want your work to have visible impact rather than being a cog in a large machine
