Summary
Are you a hard-working individual with 2 to 3 years of on-site experience looking to take the next step in your career? Dixons Landscapes has been transforming outdoor spaces for over 30 years, and we are looking for a motivated Semi-Skilled Landscaper to join our team based at Chenies Garden Centre.
This isn't just a general labouring role; you will work directly alongside our highly experienced tradespeople, assisting on everything from premium patios, fencing, and timber constructions to our signature landscaping, planting, highly specialised natural pond builds, and advanced filtration systems.
If you have a full UK driving licence, know your way around basic power tools, have a strong work ethic, and want to learn advanced hard landscaping and aquatic construction skills from local industry leaders, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Helping with garden building and landscaping work to make sure every job looks professional
- Preparing ground and laying turf, paving slabs, and brickwork
- Using hand tools, power tools, and mixers safely and correctly
- Helping the team build and look after garden ponds and water filters
- Planting flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Keeping the site clean, safe, and tidy for our customers
- Looking after tools and equipment so they stay in good working order
- Following health and safety rules on site at all times
- Working well with the rest of the team to get jobs finished on time
Qualifications and Requirements
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar landscaping or garden building role
- A full UK driving licence is essential
- Must already have the right to work in the UK (we cannot sponsor visa applications for candidates living abroad)
*Please note that the top end of the salary bracket is heavily dependent on experience and qualifications*
Pay: £26,500.00-£35,000.00 per year
