Summary
Due to continued expansion we are seeking a reliable and motivated Plant Operator to join our growing team based at our Fulwood, Preston site. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating and maintaining plant machinery safely and efficiently while ensuring production targets and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate plant and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any faults or defects.
- Carry out routine inspections and basic maintenance checks.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety procedures.
- Load, process, and move materials as required.
- Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production targets.
Experience & Qualifications
- CPCS, NPORS, or equivalent plant operator certification.
- Experience within recycling, waste management, construction, quarrying, or manufacturing environments.
- Telehandler, loading shovel, excavator, or other plant operation experience.
