Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking full-time team member to join our busy burger outlet based in a food court in Ilford. Please note, we are only looking for applicants who can 6 days a week. (7 hour shifts).

Duties

Carry out high-quality food preparation to consistently excellent standards
Maintain exceptional cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen in line with food safety regulations
Prepare and cook customer orders efficiently as they are received
Accurately prepare and present orders in a timely manner
Take customer orders in a courteous, professional, and friendly manner
Operate the till system confidently and accurately
Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly after use
Assist with stock control by organising supplies and informing management of inventory requirements
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is essential
Clear English communication is essential
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Basic understanding of meal preparation and food handling techniques
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
Friendly attitude with excellent communication skills for serving guests and working as part of a team
Flexibility to work various shifts as required, including weekends if necessary

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
