Full job description

We’re looking for a brilliant Marketing Communications Executive to join our team and help make Doodlebone impossible to ignore.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves brands, has ideas, and wants the freedom to actually bring them to life.

You’ll own how Doodlebone shows up day-to-day, primarily to our community of dog owners, but also to the brilliant pet shops and retailers we work with across the UK.

From the email landing in someone’s inbox to what’s happening on Instagram, our website, ambassador community and how we activate the brand in-store, you’ll help make sure everything feels unmistakably Doodlebone.

What you’ll be doing

Owning our DTC marketing communications across email, social, website and digital
Planning and creating content that people actually want to stop, read, watch or share
Bringing our brand calendar to life with campaigns, launches, seasonal moments and reactive ideas
Managing and growing relationships with our ambassadors and wider Doodlebone community
Creating communications for our independent pet shops and retail partners
Keeping our website fresh, relevant and properly on-brand
Supporting retail and in-store activations
Spotting opportunities for Doodlebone to show up differently, rather than simply doing what every other pet brand is doing
Ultimately, helping us supercharge how Doodlebone communicates

Who we’re looking for

You’ll probably be someone who is creative, curious and full of ideas, but also organised enough to actually make them happen.

You understand what makes a great consumer brand. You notice brilliant campaigns, follow interesting brands, understand social and digital culture and naturally think, “we could do something with that.”

You’ll be comfortable taking ownership, trying things, learning what works and pushing us to do things better.

And importantly, you’ll get Doodlebone.

We’re warm, friendly and don't take ourselves too seriously. But behind that, we care enormously about our products, our customers and building a genuinely brilliant brand.

And yes, loving dogs is pretty important.
