Job Introduction

Job Title: Agency Services Coordinator

Salary: £33,900

Contract: 2 year fixed term contract

Location: Regional Worker

Weekly Hours: 35 hours - Monday to Friday

So…. What is this role exactly?

This is an exciting opportunity for an Agency Services Co-ordinator to work across the Agency Managed Services portfolio across the North West area.

You will be responsible for providing accommodation and support to vulnerable residents, working in partnership with a number of specialist care and support providers.

You will work closely with external Care and Support Providers to ensure contractual compliance is fulfilled and will help drive service improvements and monitor the services that they are providing to Your Housing Group residents.

What will my working week look like?

You will be working 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday. You will be homebased, living within a reasonable travelling distance to our Head Office in Birchwood, to attend meetings and training courses. You will also travel in and around the operating region within the Northwest with the freedom to manage your diary around your customer visits and stakeholder meetings.

What will I be responsible for doing?

First and foremost, you will provide advice and guidance to the support providers on all aspects of tenancy and housing management, compliance performance, adhering to (and reporting) KPI’s. You will be performance driven, with the ability to manage your own workload and meet targets.

As the Agency Services Coordinator, you will…

have excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships, internally and with external partners
be an experienced housing management professional, with plenty of experience of delivering our void and lettings service and compliance functions
work with the rent and service administration teams to monitor rent and service charge setting, invoicing and payments from managing agents
have responsibility for managing the key performance targets set for your respective patch
have the ability to successfully manage tasks to deadline
a proven passion for handling customer and stakeholder enquiries through to resolution

In addition to the above you will embrace the culture of continuous improvement to support Value for Money throughout the organisation and have a passion for doing things right first time.

knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework of social housing and property / tenancy management
good knowledge of best practice in safeguarding adults and safeguarding children
a good level of understanding of Housing Management and relevant Housing services

Good administrative, organisational, and planning skills with an ability to acquire knowledge and grasp new concepts quickly.
