As our Content Marketing Executive, you'll be responsible for researching, creating, editing, optimising and publishing content across multiple platforms for a varied portfolio of clients.
This is a varied role that requires excellent copywriting skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt your writing and content style to different industries and audiences.
You'll use keyword research and SEO tools such as Semrush to understand search demand, identify content opportunities and produce content informed by genuine data and insight.
You'll also use SEO content tools and plugins such as ContentShake AI, Yoast SEO and Rank Math to support content creation and on-page optimisation. These tools should be used to inform and strengthen your work rather than replace editorial judgement, creativity or a genuine understanding of the subject.
Alongside written content, you'll create engaging social media graphics and tiles using tools such as Canva, working within existing brand guidelines and templates.
You'll work closely with our wider marketing team to ensure all content supports agreed marketing objectives, SEO best practice and the evolving requirements of AI-powered search.
Our ideal candidate is someone who can hit the ground running, is confident managing their own workload, and takes pride in producing content that delivers real value for our clients.
About LoudLocal
LoudLocal is a growing digital marketing agency based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. We work with businesses across a wide range of industries, helping them grow through SEO, paid advertising, websites, social media, and digital marketing.
To support our continued growth, we are adding a Content Marketing Executive to our team to take ownership of day-to-day content delivery across multiple client accounts.
This is an execution-focused, highly varied role. You won’t be responsible for developing marketing strategies, but you will play a crucial role in bringing them to life. You’ll research, create, edit, optimise, and publish high-quality written and visual content across multiple digital channels.
We actively use modern SEO, design, and AI tools to work smart, but original human writing, tone-of-voice adaptation, and sharp attention to detail are the core of this role. AI should be used to enhance your research and content creation process, never to replace your own voice and editorial judgement.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Copywriting
- Write engaging, original, and well-researched blog articles, landing pages, and website copy for a wide range of client industries.
- Work from content briefs, keyword research, and marketing plans to deliver content accurately and on schedule.
- Produce engaging copy for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and, where appropriate, TikTok.
SEO & Optimisation
- Carry out keyword research using Semrush and other SEO tools to identify relevant search terms, audience needs, and content opportunities.
- Review and update page titles and meta descriptions based on keyword research, search intent, and wider SEO audits.
- Use content optimisation tools and SEO plugins such as Yoast SEO to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Apply professional judgement when using SEO tools, ensuring content remains natural, engaging, and valuable rather than writing solely to achieve an optimisation score.
- Create and refine content to support visibility across traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences while maintaining a natural, user-focused writing style.
Responsible AI Integration
- Use AI tools to support research, content planning, idea generation, and refinement while contributing meaningful personal input, expertise, and original writing.
- Review, edit, and fact-check all AI-assisted content to ensure it is accurate, relevant, original, and aligned with the client's tone of voice, ensuring AI reinforces high-quality content rather than replacing human input.
Design & Visuals
- Create professional and engaging social media graphics, promotional tiles, and other simple visual content using Canva or similar design tools.
- Adapt existing templates and visual assets to suit different campaigns, platforms, and client brand guidelines.
Project & Account Management
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously while maintaining a consistently high standard of work.
- Liaise with clients as required on content approvals, amendments, and project updates.
- Collaborate with our SEO, Paid Media, Design, and Website teams to ensure content supports broader marketing campaigns.
Experience and Background
We are looking for someone who has practical experience producing high-quality digital content, ideally within a fast-paced agency or a busy in-house marketing team.
Ideally, you will have experience with:
- Multi-Industry Writing: Producing original blog posts, articles, or website copy across a variety of different B2B or B2C industries.
- Hands-on SEO Tools: Using Semrush (or similar tools) to conduct keyword research and identify search demand.
- On-Page Optimisation: Using SEO plugins like Yoast SEO to update page titles, meta descriptions, and improve content scores without losing a natural reading flow.
- Smart AI Editing: Working with AI tools for research or drafting, with a proven ability to heavily edit, fact-check, and rewrite the output so it sounds authentically human.
- Basic Digital Design: Using Canva to adapt existing brand templates into professional social media graphics and promotional tiles.
- Task & Project Management: Handling multiple deadlines or client projects simultaneously, keeping work organised and delivering on schedule.
- Collaboration: Working alongside wider digital teams (like SEO, Web, or Paid Media) and communicating professionally regarding content updates or client feedback.
About You
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented individual who can seamlessly switch between different client industries and tones of voice.
To thrive in this role, you should be:
- A Skilled Copywriter: You have a strong independent writing ability, flawless grammar, and a sharp eye for detail.
- A Critical Thinker: You look at AI-generated drafts with a sceptical eye, knowing exactly how to question, fact-check, and rewrite them to add genuine human value.
- Visually Minded: You don't need to be a graphic designer, but you have a good eye for layout, branding, and visual consistency when using Canva.
- Organised & Adaptable: You are comfortable managing multiple deadlines and moving parts simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environment.
